YOU
could be presenting your very own show from the comfort of
your own computer on African Internet Radio !
All you need is a computer of reasonable specification with an
audio microphone, some music and an idea ! Of course, we
recommend that all presenters invest in more equipment that
this - if they are keen to add extra professionalism to their
programme. If you are a DJ with your own audio equipment
- then you too can present a show on our popular station - to
thousands of discerning Africans all over the world.
Committing to broadcasting your own show on AIR is a step that
requires your thought and planning. Our listeners look for the
best in quality entertainment - that's why they tune in to AIR
! As such, your programme will need to be well planned
and executed if it is to meet our high standards.
We'll consider all programme proposals - but are keen to air a
wide variety of content from as many African countries as
possible. We'll give priority, therefore, to presenters
from countries and groups that are not currently represented
on AIR. Likewise, if your programme is particularly
innovative in it's content, then we'll consider it as well.
You don't need to be an experienced broadcaster - just willing
to have a go, and committed to offering a couple of hours of
your free time to our voluntary project.
Be it a talk show, a
sports show, a discussion programme, a specialist music show
or a get-together with friends - we want to hear from YOU
today !
Please make your proposal as detailed as possible in order
that we can evaluate it fully before making any
decision......remember to include the following details as a
minimum :-
a) your computer's specifications including processor speed,
operating system, internet connection speed etc.
b) your full name and contact details including an email
address.
c) a full and detailed programme outline - i.e. what exactly
are you planning for a show. More detail is better
here.......
d) the days you are available to broadcast on our station -
and the time zone you are living in (important).
e) the proposed name of your show.
